UpSide Down Day

As a Nanny for Children for the last 19 years I have come up with some interesting days such has backwards day where you have breakfast for dinner and pj day.  Well the Dogs are having upside down day today.

Grover is the the one that seems to sleep upside down the most!
He is 90lbs so he does take up alot of room on the furniture.
We are finding out that  Zena also loves to sleep upside down which is super cute!
One weird thing about Zena is her tongue sticks out.  As anyone ever had a dog that the tongue has actually stuck out?
We Looked around in her little mouth and she as no bottom front teeth at all.  We are hoping she gets her adult teeth soon.
Geisha Also Loves to sleep Upside down and will take up her fair share of the Living room Furniture.

Wrinkles is more than happy laying on her side and watches everything that is going on.

Lily Loves to lay like a Frog while Bailey is always on alert so we would never catch him laying on his back!

Meet Amber she is the Newest Member of  The Family I nanny for.
Amber should turn out to be a Awesome Dog and a Wonderful Companion for the Family.
They Are New Dog Owners and have never had a dog before, so I am Glad to be on Board to help with her
The Family I work for has just lost their Father 3 Weeks ago to the Cancer. Amber is Surely a Welcome addition to the Mom and the  who will have a much needed companion to get her through this Tough Time.

What a Tease!

So the Dogs have been going a little crazy these days, while they are outside.  There is a group of
little Grey things that tease them.  It is actually kinda cute and has become a fun game I think for both the dogs and the
squirrels.
They hide near the Tree and bolt up it when when dogs come within a few feet of them

Then the dogs stand guard waiting for it to come back down or run the Fence Line so they can chase it.  The Squirrel Chatters at them as it run by.  Almost like saying "you can catch me, ha ha ha"

Wrinkles has the most fun playing this game, she will stand guard at the bottom of the tree, barking her head off at it.
It Chatters back with stop all that Barking at me

This makes Geisha, and Grover Mad and then all 3 of them stay guard at the bottom

Yesterday, they stood guard for 15 minutes waiting to catch it.

Our Friend Luke who lives in CT, was lucky and actually caught a little grey friend of his very own.
The Squirrel was not so lucky.  I pray that my gang doesn't catch one because I don't think the outcome would be very good

We got a New Toy

Look at our new toy Mom Calls it the Snow Spider! It actually is made with seatbelt material connected with our favorite thing called
BALLS!
Whatever it is it needs to get a Little shaking

and a little Pulling!

Which turned into a Game of Tug a War that lasted a Good 5 minutes

Wrinkles was very happy playing with her Old Ball and Rolling in the snow
While Foster Baby Zena Modeled her New Jacket
Zena is Getting Braver everyday, and we are falling more and more in Love with her every minute!

Meet Alvin he was rescued by the Friend of Manchester Animal Shelter from a horrible life in the South.  He was out for a walk with is Foster Dad when he got spooked and slipped out of his HARNESS.  Posters were hung and we got no calls, until 7 weeks later. I was scanning Craigs List like I always do and came across a post about a dog that has been hanging around a backyard in Manchester NH.  I call the lady right away and went down and checked around, it was Alvin.  I called some people from the shelter and within 4 hrs we had him in a Make-Shift Trap because there was no Large Dog Trap Available to use.  He was Transported back to the Shelter with about 5 leashes on him and three Women Hanging on to him for Dear Life.

Meet Brandon, He was Rescued from the south and escaped from his new owners within 24 hrs. They Surrended him back to Rescue Lost.  He Traveled all around Derry Nh for about 3 weeks crossing back and forth across RT 93.  A team of us spent countless hrs consulting with the Lady of Lost Dog Search. We were kicked out of Dunkin Donuts because we spent to much time there.  He was finally located eating Feral Cat food and was trapped in a Humane trap around 4am in the Morning.  He was adopted by Lisa one of his searchers and Lives a Wonderful Life in Maine.

Lou he was missing for Danville NH for 3.6 months when I trapped him using a little Chicken Liver and a Fenced in  Playground. He was a super smart dog and would not go near the humane trap.  He was Recovered and Transported in my car with about 200 ticks all over his body.  He was reunited with his owner after 3 days of care by a local Vet.

Meet Sweet Little Zena

We are up Early here in NH as I had to get to work for 6:30 Am.  It is Very weird to be at work on a Sunday but one more day of work and then I have the rest of the week off to spend time with  the Dog's. So I really can't complain to much. I guess if I was home I would have to Clean the House.

This is our  newest Foster Baby Zena!  She is a Love Bug who Clearly needs some extra Love!  She was born 16 weeks ago on a Front Porch in TN and has had a pretty rough life.
She was adopted to a family in Ma last Saturday.  The family truely loved her but they have a daschund that has took a turn for the worse. Their Daschund might have to have his eyes removed, because of some horrible infection.  So they could not keep Zena, because he keeps going after her.

So that means Zena is now on her 4th home in 16 weeks which totally breaks my heart. She is super sweet but is very fearful of quick movements. She will get all the love she deserves while she is with us.
She will be treated like a Princess!
She Already has picked out some of her favorite toys from the toy basket.  One is the stuff free rabbit that is bigger than she is.
She has Discovered that it it make noise if she grabs it in the head, so she kept attacking it for about 45 minutes. Very Cute!

Has her foster mom I have made her a promise that she can stay with us as long as she needs! Her 5th Home Needs to be her forever home. I will not let her go home with anyone, she needs to be placed in a very home!
Even though we have a Foster Baby Grover will still be my King!
