As a Nanny for Children for the last 19 years I have come up with some interesting days such has backwards day where you have breakfast for dinner and pj day. Well the Dogs are having upside down day today.
Grover is the the one that seems to sleep upside down the most!
He is 90lbs so he does take up alot of room on the furniture.
We are finding out that Zena also loves to sleep upside down which is super cute!
One weird thing about Zena is her tongue sticks out. As anyone ever had a dog that the tongue has actually stuck out?
We Looked around in her little mouth and she as no bottom front teeth at all. We are hoping she gets her adult teeth soon.
Geisha Also Loves to sleep Upside down and will take up her fair share of the Living room Furniture.
Wrinkles is more than happy laying on her side and watches everything that is going on.
Lily Loves to lay like a Frog while Bailey is always on alert so we would never catch him laying on his back!
Meet Amber she is the Newest Member of The Family I nanny for.
Amber should turn out to be a Awesome Dog and a Wonderful Companion for the Family.
They Are New Dog Owners and have never had a dog before, so I am Glad to be on Board to help with her
The Family I work for has just lost their Father 3 Weeks ago to the Cancer. Amber is Surely a Welcome addition to the Mom and the who will have a much needed companion to get her through this Tough Time.

Sage is often an upside down dog too! Generally with all 4 legs straight up in the air!
Phantom rarely sleeps upside down - way too much exposure for this very cautious boy. But TD and Ciara have no problems getting very relaxed and snoozing belly up. Fun seeing all your pups doing their own thing:)
Woos ~ Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara
Those upside down days sound great!
Lola sleeps upside down. I think its easier for her to breathe that way. Ohh and the more tired she is the more her tongue sticks out.
Upside down with a peeping out tongue. That's cute. Great sleeping shots.
I do the frog and sleep on my back.
XXXOOO Daisy, Kendra & Bella
Oh, upside down dogs...too cute! Minnie sometimes sleeps like that!
Welcome to Amber! I'm sure she's helping the family get over such a large loss.
Our dog, May, sleeps upside down too! Our dog, Holly, is much too reserved to sleep that way, she prefers to curl up in a tight little ball!
I wuvs to sleep upside down! We all do! Except for CoCo...I don't think she has evfur done it...but she's a freak anyway!! Harooo!!!

Hi Amber!
I like to sleep on my back like you guys to. :)
Cool sleeping positions!! Holly sleeps on her side usually or straight out with paws ready to go somewhere! We love Amber...she's a beauty and we are sure she will be a big help to the family. Lots of love, Holly and mom
I had a chihuahua whose tongue would stick out... when she got older it stuck out all the time. We had to tap it occasionally to remind her to pull it back in to keep it from getting too dry.
Brandy lays bell up & tongue slightly out 'i think shes just super secure and very happy and no worries !! i hope Amber shows her new family unconditonal love and helps them get over the grieving process much easier!! best of wishes for the family during thls very hard time. love from BRANDY $ Lorrie!!
Oh, my, so sorry for the family on their loss! But a dog sure can be a great comfort.
CindyLu has upside-down day every day! Her tongue sticks out sometimes, but with the Shih-Tzu underbite that she has, guess it's no surprise.
Upside-down dogs are cute, especially yours!
Welcome Amber you reaffirm what I always say... Sometimes, when you rescue, the life you save is YOUR own!
All three Bichons sleep belly up, and Silvie usually has her mouth slightly open.
I've heard that dogs sleep on their backs when they feel safe. My dog Aschiuta also sleeps like that a lot. And, since you asked about the tongue sticking out, she sometimes dreams about suckling, so she will also mimic that in her sleep.
