The Christmas Parade

We are very upset with mom this week!  Do you see all these treats?  Well guess what they were
not for us.  Mom cooked 350 treats for the Friends of Manchester Animal Shelter. She decided on Monday that she would march in the Manchester Nh Christmas Parade with two of us dogs. She Chose Bailey and Geisha and they were excited to join her. But Mom decided that she would get dressed up as a
CHRISTMAS COW FOR THE PARADE! We think she lost her mind, but that might of happened along time ago.

Mom was hoping that this would get the shelter noticed and get a few shelter pets a home for the holidays.
Mom's friend Anne and her Dog Chester also decided that being in a parade would be fun.  They all were wishing the weather was a little warmer than 31 degrees , but it is December.
Geisha was all decked out in her Christmas Bows for the parade.  We are hoping that we made the Local Paper since we had our picture taken more than once and they asked for our information.
We Guess this is only the beginning of the Christmas season!

It looks like lots of fun to participate in the parade, and that is a really super way to raise awareness for such a great cause. Those cookies look yummy too!

Well that is very, uh.. interesting! I don't know anyone who owns a cow outfit, but now I do! :)

That's why it's called the silly season!

Weren't you even allowed to taste test? I mean, suppose some of those treats were substandard! You wouldn't want to give substandard treats to homeless dogs, would you?

Hope lots of dogs get families for Christmas.

Pawsome! Our momma is crazy too. We are familiar with the treats that leave the house for places unknown! And when she does a rescue bake sale it is torture time, but... being a rescue myself...I guess it is ok.:)PS we call our momma Abbie.
Abbie Normal....

I hope Geisha makes the paper. It would be sooooo much better than your Moo Moo Mom. hehehe I'm just KIDDIN. I think she looked grrreat and should be a gooood reminder to help the shelter.

Great. My Mom smile so big at y'all's Mom that it stuck there. She looks crazier than normal now. Maybe I can paw it off her. I'll try for the sake of myself and the world at large ;)

Geisha, bows become you my dear :) High Paws to all of you! And especially to the lovely Christmas Cow :)

Waggin at ya,
Roo

We are so very proud of you for marching in the parade for the good of the rescue dogs. And we know that your Mom probably has plans to make more treats for all of you too.

Happy Sunday.

Oh how fun! Everyone loves a parade.

I hope you get your picture in the paper and that some pets got adopted because you were kind enough to help spread the word in such a creative way.
