Watch out stay off the trails! We are going to start a new adventure here at
The Life with 5 dogs House! We are taking up Dog Scootering and we are all very excited about it.
This is a way to exercise both your dog and yourself. The dog obviously gets exercise pulling the scooter but people also get exercise, as they have to help push, especially up hills. Dogs that exercise regularly tend to be better behaved, as a lot of bad behavior is due to boredom and lack of exercise. Behavior Problems
Most dogs take to this sport with little encouragement needed. They get to run as fast as they can and get to see and visit new places. As dog scooters get more experianced, they tend to take their dog(s) and scooter(s) with them to new trails to run. This can lead to a stronger bond between people and their dogs.
Do you know anyone that dog scooters?
Look What we are Getting ! We are taking on a challenge and we are
going to start Dog Scootering

Wow... glad there isn't a trend toward cat-scootering. I think I enjoy naps too much for that, but it looks like fun for you dogs... Have a great time. ...Max
Good luck with your scootering! Looks like fun!
Way cool! Can't wait to see the photos of your scooterin adventures! Hopefully not too many wrecks ;)
Waggin at ya,
Roo
Have fun learning! You are so brave :)
Kisses,
Emma Rose
Wow, that's awesome!! Thanks for the info about the Doodles. I feel like if I dog scootered, Riley would only pull me in the direction of squirrels and bunnies...off the beaten path! Have fun with it, hopefully your dogs have a bit less of a prey drive than Riley does!

That is going to be an adventure!! Have fun!!! Lots of love, Holly and mom
With us, that'd be a disaster waiting to happen. We all want to go in different directions, stop when we feel like it, and generally do our own things. Can't wait to see how you go.
XXXOOO Daisy, Kendra & Bella
Sounds like fun!
I only have seen one person around my area dog scootering, and he was in a ditch next to a dirt road. Ruh roh! I asked if he needed help but he seemed more humiliated than hurt.
I hope that you have fun and stay out of the ditches!
If I lived khloser, I'd khome help!

Hmmmm, unless they build scooters really close to the ground, don't think we'll be taking it up anytime soon, lol!
But it looks like such fun & what a pawsome way to get some great exercise
(((hugs)) your friends

Very cool. Can't wait to hear how you guys like it. :)
I could use one of these when I go off to college! It would help me get to my classes faster. Too bad I couldn't bring my boys with me but I'm pretty sure the school wouldn't allow me to use two chihuahuas as guide dogs. lol
Never heard of this, but it sure sounds fun. We would like to know more. Not sure it would be right for my senior girl, but you never know.
Did you really start scootering with your dogs? Woweeee...you must be the dog mom of all dog mom's to take all 5 of them on a scootering trip! I have taken Daisy on a bike ride/walk and it certainly did make her tired in only 15 minutes or less! She loves to run and the bicycle is a godsend...gotta get one of those special attachments for my bike to make it safer for all!
Mom has always wanted to have a scooter - she just knows that Phantom would love to pull her along, but she worries about falling off and breaking her bones. After reading KB's comment, she is not so sure scootering is in our future. We just know you are all going to love it.
Woos ~ Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara
That sounds like fun. Can't wait to hear more about it!
That sure looks fun!!!
